Charities We Support
The Plano Police Association proudly supports a wide range of charitable organizations, including those listed below. In addition to financial contributions, PPA members dedicate their time and effort to volunteer in support of these causes.
Our members regularly participate in community events and charitable initiatives, helping to strengthen connections between the Plano Police Department and the community we serve. Through both service and support, the PPA remains committed to making a positive impact beyond the badge.

Christmas Cops
"Christmas Cops is our signature charity started in 1984 to assist Plano families in need during the Christmas Season. Collection boxes are placed at numerous local businesses, fire stations, libraries, and city facilities to collect toys, food, new coats, and miscellaneous household items. Shortly before Christmas, our Officers and Santa's Helpers make deliveries to these families."

Concerns of Police Survivors - Metroplex Chapter
"Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. There is no membership fee to join C.O.P.S., for the price paid is already too high."

City House
City House is a leading nonprofit serving children, youth, and young adults experiencing homelessness, abuse, and neglect in North Texas. Together with community partners, schools, and local supporters, we provide safe housing, counseling, and crisis intervention—working to create stability today and pathways toward independence for tomorrow.

North Texas Mental Health Symposium
Together, we’ll break down barriers to care and build bridges toward understanding, healing, and hope.

Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County
Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization providing hope to children and families victimized by child abuse. Our proven approach brings experts together under one roof to ensure safety and justice. We are the only agency in our community offering services critical to healing, free for life.
