There are many ways you can assist the Christmas Cops program this year. We invite you to become involved with the program and here are some easy ways to help:
Become a Collection Site
In mid-October, Christmas Cops program volunteers visit your location to provide you with printed collection boxes, informational brochures, and colorful posters. Your customers and employees fill the boxes with donated items and in mid-December, our volunteers return to collect the now full collection boxes. All you need do to start the process is let us know you are interested by completing our Collection Site Form. Host an Item Drive
Your organization, business, or civic / neighborhood group will target some of our most needed items such as batteries, diapers / wipes, formula, coats, bicycles, etc. Let us know that you are interested in hosting an item drive when you complete a Contact Us form.
Host an Angel Tree
Add an Angel Tree display to your business’ holiday decorations this year. Christmas Cops volunteers will visit your location to provide you with a list of Angels and items each child has requested, printed collection boxes, information brochures, and posters. Your customers and employees will choose an Angel Card from the display and donate items for that specific child. In mid-December, our volunteers will return to collect all donated items. All you need do to start the process is let us know you are interested in becoming an Angel Tree location by completing our Contact Us form.
Make a Monetary Donation
Donating to the Christmas Cops program has never been easier. We’ve partnered with PayPal to accept a one-time or monthly donation via your credit card or bank account – it’s a free service. With your generous donation, we will be able to continue our mission of assisting the less fortunate in Plano during the Christmas Holidays. The Christmas Cops program is a non-profit organization; all donations will be formally acknowledged and may be tax deductible.
Host a Holiday Giving Party
Turn your usual neighborhood or business holiday party into a unique and meaningful opportunity for guests to donate to help families in your community. Christmas Cops program volunteers will visit to provide you with printed collection boxes, information brochures, and posters. Ask each guest to bring a new and unwrapped toy or coat to donate; following the party, our volunteers will return to collect all donated items. All you need do to start the process is let us know you are interested by completing our Contact Us form.

If you’ve made a recent in-kind or monetary donation to the Plano Police Association Christmas Cops program, Thank You! Should you need a receipt for your donation, please fill out this form and a donation receipt will be emailed or mailed to the address you provide.
